Our design process:

Stage 1: Ideation & Information Gathering:

• Following this meeting, we prepare a comprehensive proposal outlining our interior design services for your review.

Stage 2: Concept & Space Planning:

In Stage 2 of our interior design process, we bring your ideas to life by developing concept designs and detailed space planning. Using the information gathered in Stage 1, we create preliminary sketches and plans that meet your functional and aesthetic requirements. This includes auditing your existing space, taking precise measurements, and drafting new layouts if necessary.

• Space Planning:
  We design floor plans that optimize space requirements, ensure code compliance, and establish logical adjacencies. A well-planned layout considers ergonomics and anthropometrics, ensuring the distance and arrangement of furniture and fixtures are both efficient and comfortable.

• Material and Product Selection:
  We source and specify materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and appliances, gathering budget estimates for each selection. Our clients benefit from trade discounts as a value-added service. If needed, we also coordinate with contractors or allied professionals to obtain quotes.

• Visualizing the Concept:
  To help you see the overall vision, we create visual aids, such as mood boards, and 3D renderings if required, that illustrate the proposed look and feel of the space.

• Once preliminary concepts, floor plans, and quotes are complete, we review everything with you to provide a clear picture of projected costs. Upon your approval, the project moves into Design Development, the next stage of the interior design process.

Stage 3: Design Development:

In Stage 3 of our interior design process, the concept for your space is further refined and developed into a fully detailed design.

• Refining the Floor Plan:
  The floor plan is adjusted to ensure it meets your needs for function, practicality, and comfort, creating a layout that works seamlessly for your lifestyle.

• Final Material & Finish Selections:
  We finalize selections for materials and finishes, including flooring, countertops, wall tiles, paint, and other key elements. All selections are guided by your vision, the suitability of the products for their intended use, and your budget.

• Visualization & Renderings:
  To help you clearly see the final design, perspective renderings can be created, showing how the space will look once completed.

• Review & Approval:
  We meet to review the overall concept, final floor plan, and material selections. At this stage, we also review the project budget and timelines to ensure everything aligns with your expectations before moving forward.

Stage 4: Final Design Documents:

• In Stage 4 of our interior design process, once all plans and material finishes are approved, we prepare the final design drawing set. These professional drawings communicate the project’s overall design intent and aesthetic vision, serving as a clear guide for construction and helping coordinate any consultants or contractors involved.

  Administration:
  We handle all administrative tasks, including placing orders for furnishings, materials, and appliances, requesting quotes from vendors, and reviewing submissions with you to confirm selections and budgets.

  Consultant Coordination:
  We manage sourcing and communication with all necessary consultants, such as contractors, architects, and mechanical or electrical engineers. This includes coordinating drawings, conducting code reviews, submitting permit applications, and obtaining required schedules or letters of assurance for building permits and construction.

  Quality Control & Installation Supervision:
  With the interior designer actively involved, we review quotes for interior work, conduct progress check-ins, and work closely with contractors to ensure that construction and installations follow the approved design drawings, specifications, and aesthetic vision.
